Showers in the north but sunshine in the south

Much of Scotland will see a breezy day with scattered showers which may drift down into northern England and Northern Ireland.
Elsewhere, after a chilly start, it will be a dry day for most of us with patchy cloud and plenty of sunshine.
With lighter winds it will feel warmer in the sunshine with a maximum temperature of 21C.
