Teacher told kids to take selfies with their parents' SEX TOYS

Both the teacher and students say it was supposed to be a "joke" but education officials have launched an investigation.

The bizarre x-rated assignment was overheard by an after-school program worker who reported Wing-Wah Leung to authorities.

According to two mums students could boost their grades if they rifled through their parents’ drawers in search of condoms – as well dildos and other sex toys – then took pictures of what they found.

Parents Evangeline Garcia and Kimberly Cobene said they were horrified when they heard reports that their daughters’ 10th-grade geometry teacher, had assigned the extra credit.

Garcia got wind of the unusual homework set at the Encinal High School, in San Francisco after receiving a call from assistant principal Kevin Gorham.

Her daughter had confided in another school teacher who then told him.

Colene heard the news from her daughter first-hand who also told her the teacher had said: "If you got caught, that would be funnier."

The Alameda Unified School District is now investigating the reports to ensure no laws had been broken

According to local news outlet SFGate Leung was still teaching at the school during the investigation.

“I know it’s so hard for the community to understand why we won’t release the details,” said Susan Davis – a spokeswoman for the school district.

But she added: “We take these situations very, very seriously.”

But several students stood up for Leung – who is also a school basketball coach – and said he was not being serious at all.

They said Leung was known for being the funny, cool teacher and that his jest was taken out of context.

 “All the things he says are like jokes to us,” said Lauryn Talmadge, a ninth-grader who played on the junior varsity girls’ team Leung coaches.

She added he’d often “crack jokes” at practice.

Fellow teammate Tia Parker added: “He’s just a great teacher, great coach, great person in general.

“He cares about his students.”
