Osun Coordinator, FRSC Special Marshal, Crushed To Death

THE Coordinator of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Special Marshal in Osun State, S. O. Adewale, has been crushed to death on Owena-Ilesa Road in the state.
According to an eyewitness, Adewale was returning to Owo in Ondo State, along with his wife when the accident happened.
However, his wife sustained severe injuries and is currently on admission at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife.
Adewale had reportedly parked along the road to buy fruits and food items when a fuel truck lost control and ran into his car.
Adewale died on the spot, while his remains had been deposited at the morgue of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
The deceased, who anchored a popular weekly road safety programme on the State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC),
championed many road safety awareness programmes in the state.
He is survived by four children, among them is Dr BIodun Adewale of Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owo, and Ayo Adewale, a lecturer at OAU, Ife.
The Sector Commander of the FRSC in Osun State, Mohammed Husaini, who confirmed the story, said the accident involved three vehicles, but Adewale was the only person who died.
